The BY-PB40A Universal Aluminum Boompole from BOYA is a five-section telescoping boompole that provides a 3.2 to 13.1' extension for your shotgun microphone. It can be used by boom operators to attach a microphone or a variety of other accessories for applications such as broadcast TV, films, electronic news gathering (ENG), field work, and more. The lightweight design reduces handling fatigue during lengthy sessions and will easily store in most standard equipment cases.
The five-section telescoping aluminum boom pole provides a perfect solution for a wide range of occasions such as on-location production, live performance, filmmaking, etc. The boom pole is expandable and contractile. The ergonomic lock collar design makes it comfortable to handle for a long time. The lightweight and rigid construction allows it to be utilized even in the rigor conditions. And supplied with a standard 3/8” and 1/4” threaded stud and a 1/4” to 5/8” screw adapter, the boom pole is suitable for most shock mounts, stands, blimps. Furthermore, the aluminum boom pole is built with a captive-collet coupling system and it locks each section in place for even further reliability.
